Ha, good question. I’m actually more of an army guy than a navy guy, but I love military history and film. I’d say the story of Midway, it just had to be told and it was told well in the movie. And that Tom Hanks film where he commands a destroyer fighting a U-boat, Some critics make a distinction between a war movie and a battle movie; now that’s a battle movie and a good one. And the classic, das Boot, Sicher! And heck I’m easy, I’ll even add Master and commander to the list. Now tell me, which films in this genre have I missed?
Submit to pjlibrary. I submitted a book, and although they rejected it, they did answer me. It was not published at the time, but soon mine will be published. I’m going to try them again.

I like the submarine ones, the hunt for red October still holds up, but not sure if it’s realistic or not. I like the premise though.
Best of success with the children’s book, as for me, I am more interested in naval affairs than navel affairs, so I’ll pass.
<3 no pressure thanks for taking a look. What’s your favorite naval war movie?
