"This delusional thinking was ingrained in them at an early age by institutions that were captured by insane ideology and left unchecked by their grossly negligent parents."
One of the problems was that parents, until COVID, had no real grasp on what a load of utter c#%p their kids were being taught.
The mayor to be of NYC, along with the mayors of Chicago, LA, San Francisco, Seattle, Portland, ad nauseam are a gift to Republicans that will keep on giving. Masters of misgovernance.
stellar. there is a cosmic lesson underway, and it will be bloody. we must stand out of the way so we don't become collateral damage.
if you can't bear to watch, then close your eyes and ears. balance will never be achieved without this reconing. no one can stop it, and every life will be impacted. include mine.
nothing is "free" and the price for wickedness will be extracted whether folks like it or not
Funny that you should mention Florida... But, anyway, I know I sound like a broken record, but neither New York nor Florida is the homeland of the Jewish People. This isn't about what mayor or other politician would be good or bad for the Jews. It is about where we should be investing our time and energy. Both liberals and conservatives have complains about governments, national and local in Israel. But Israel is ours. New York, Florida, LA, London, Paris, Marakesh, etc. are not. https://esseragaroth.blogspot.com/2025/06/will-new-york-city-jews-finally-wake-up.html
I agree. Unfortunately, they will only appreciate what the have now, when it’s gone. I think many of us have had our rebellions in the past, but all this nowadays is on another scale entirely, which will most likely have dire consequences down the line, not just an episode they can learn from, as they get older.
For whatever reason, many young people believe today, if I wasn’t alive for it, it didn’t happen. I do understand this generation has been sold a lie that if you simply go to college and take on debt, you will be successful. Make student debt dischargeable in bankruptcy, and you’ll remove the incentives to take one hundreds of thousands of debt for degrees that are simply not needed for today’s jobs. At least offer the same programs for people who want to go into the trades that have been unfairly demonised. There are a lot of common sense solutions to the plight of young people, but socialism is not one of them.
We should mandate 2 to 3 years of either social or military service to be eligible for most benefits and to vote. Thst would fix nearly everything in my opinion.
Great essay. I agree with everything except for “Marxism and socialism might just be what the doctor ordered” - simply because I’ve tried the medicine and would not wish it on my worst enemy. We should avoid it by all means possible. I do not see a painless and smooth return to a sane state of affairs after they play out their socialist fantasies. History teaches there may be suffering and blood.
Like how AOC constantly goes to Florida for vacations, when she could easily go to California for her vacations. Those who voted for the Islamist would move to other states when they can and again vote in their new abode for this same thing to happen there !!
I am confused. I thought the race he won was to be the Democrats choice for mayor. My understanding is that this vote will happen later this year. What i see is that most people think he has got it done. But is that true. Got it done i mean. Maybe an independant will win or even a Republican.
That is correct but typically the Democratic nominee does win the race ultimately.
Also, Cuomo, at least so far, is now saying he’ll run still as an independent, and there is concern he’ll split votes with Eric Adams also running as an independent.

Ignorance of economics + the perennial appeal of "free stuff" = votes for Mandami.

So true 👍

Those thst voted for Carney in Canada deserve everything destructive that is coming their way.
No. They don’t. That shit spreads.

Many of these "kids" have been shielded of any real life challenges to overcome. Few have ever sacrificed a thing.
But im fortunate to witness the arc coming out of the 70s/80s NYC to where we are headed.
My last stroll through the square this winter saw the police hiding in building lobbies and the inmates running the streets. 💋 😘

Doesn’t seem large swaths of people can learn these lessons second hand unfortunately….
Ignorance and arrogance, a lethal combination.
A very good post. Deserves attention.
The dawning of the age of nefarious.

I am not sure. I think people who voted for him are more likely to stay than others.
There’s still the general election and I suspect many are waiting to see if Eric Adams can somehow pull out a victory as an independent.
I was given to understand that Eric Adams wants to be the next Governor ?
Watching the Israel Guys on YouTube and they say woke, liberal and socialist Jewish people voted for the Islamist.
World has gone crazy very quickly indeed.
